All around the globe people are familiar with Spanish music. There is a big diversity and so here we will talk about the three most important types of Spanish music. The three most important Spanish music styles are Flamenco, Tango and Salsa. To begin with salsa! A picture says more than a thousand words and a video may even quadruple this. Below you can see a video of a salsa class in Malaga, Spain. The salsa video is made in a bar called Siglo XII where free salsa classes are given every Wednesday in the late evening. The music in the salsa video is from Celia Cruz and the title of the song is La vida es un Carnaval! and lets hope shes right. Salsa is a very popular type of Spanish music both to listen to and to dance on. The beauty of salsa is that it is easy and fun to begin to learn it and when you become more advanced you can expand your style with many variations. Throughout Spain there are a lot of places where you can learn to dance salsa. Most times it is free but for classes with personal attention most times the sum of around ten euros is charged.
